Recording Studio

so i have never been to a recording studio before, but have seen video clips of victor wooten recording in a studio, its basicali of at least 3 rooms seperating the drums, the banjo player, and bassist victor wooten while recording all tracks at the same time, done simultaneously in multiracks.


so yeah, i actuali went to RongGuang's working studio to hav a look around the place while 永康，师君，荣光，顺德，彩燕，and more, work on the demo tracks for the choir songs which wud be sang in Light of The World Concert '07.

jz arrive, briefing of songs, mood n stuff


tis mixer has more than 30 input channels, it must have cost a fortune


mr 永康 working on the keyboards which wil b direct in as midi and convert to various instruments using filters,
then recorded using "Nuendo" (a recordin sofware for midi and wave)


荣光 with the guitar which is also the sound engineer :)
顺德 tryin to fix the arrangements and melody lines


stress!! 师君on the left visualising the details of the mood of the song
旨辉sharing his views while albert struggle to cum out wit the lines

strikes in for the backup vocals and addtional voicings to the song

lasted til late mid night, and had a break to fool around in the studio wit the drumset, bass and his guitar Fender '67 stratocaster and a Fender Jazzbass '57 . cool stuff. pricey though :)

mr Hwa share his thoughts to me about how TAIKOs actuali speak publicali ,"tis is a sentsitive issue (racism issue), if tis continues, i cant assure ur personal safety." to cover up gigantic corruptions in the country by his PEOPLE. although they are already manipulating the economics and politics by law enforcements siding to them, protecting them, playing with quotas, stil they complain they are not EARNIN enuf.


others who struggle under the discrimination work hard to survive, while those protected by the RULES and TAIKO stil complainin and yelling "u shud be grateful n stop questionin our corruption deeds" because we are different in APPEARANCE and by doing so, it switch from a civil issue to a RACISM issue, with those questioning being penalise and the corrupted ones being the victim. how sad.


may b there jz wasn't a future, for tat kinda place, politicians are not standing out for the people, but fiddling around with political issues for their name and $$, coruption continues to go from underground to under the sunlight work, discriminations, may b they shud jz leave the place and find a better place.


shud they have thought of migrating to other places? they dint noe, they prefer to stay cause they're jz to lazy to get use to a whole new place. do u see a future? or ur in the crowd slumbering, jz too lazy to give a damn to all these, cause its worthless to even complain, TAIKO wil beat u up regardless of ur reasonin, cz u r not one of them.
