LOTW '07

This is a late registry of the show we did in January, uniting the work of all KL district chinese speaking catholic youths. So the story is basically about how a village, of people who are all selfish and self-centered change to more caring and loving village after a Mysterious Man showed up.


Cut it short, the Mysterious man is dress in white while all the others are in dark colour wears, and he symbolised Jesus who came to spread the seed of love to the world who is cold, selfish and self-centered.


I, myself plays this character, a father who left his family because for another woman, but return to home after the other woman left him. And thus he struggle for his family's acceptance, his wife and his son. So, what im suppose to do? I dun talk much, i bascially do alot of inner-feeling stuff, which are suppose to show through body languages and facial expression.


This of cause is a really big challenge, everybody who knows me, knew that i only know how to smile and laugh. So its hard, to act some one who feel guilty, and very pressure and sad. some one even say i look like Master Q, sigh.

The All-time bad-ass character played by ChuanYaw as the Head of the village.
Selfish, very violent and materialist. But his golden-chromed 60's specs was a hit !! haha!!

The All-time Good Guy, symbolising Jesus, played by Cyril, all white.
It's a hard thing for him to do his role, to express in a very Holy and Loving personality.
We do spot him becoming more Holy after the event, good thing :) praise the lord, amen!!

Me, in blue shirt, in thick frame specs, acting as the Guilty Father who once abandon his home.
I suffer a short period of depression because i havta 'feel guilty' every time i go on stage.
That's my son, who finally burst into anger and confront his dad.

Ah~ those people behind me are acting as villagers selling goods in the market keke
the 1 on my left, is my wife, played by Sylvia, a gal younger than me by 5 years.

We practise the slapping alot of times, but sadly i aimed wrong during the actual show. eeks

This is Ronald a 15 year out kid, acting as a 80+ years old man!!
Look at the heavy makeup this is cool !!

This is JinQuan played by the role of a alcoholic, who loose his family and turn to alcohol.
He is just 17, and look at the beard using makeup, thats glued using small strings !!

Anyway, I got the most out-standing mustache !!
i was about to cry after they finish make-up for me,
but luckily the director and advisor send me back to change my Mr.Potato mustache
i was safe...phew
