Convocation Festival UM 2008

Convocation never felt the same this year. last 3yrs, the seniors whom graduate was never tat close. but this yr, alot of frens and seniors whom i spent this 3yrs with, are mostli graduating. And the coming next year, its my turn for convocation, if i dont failed any core subject tat is.

I stil remember the 1st few weeks when i came into uni, i was desperate to join the uni's catholic student society, TianZhuan. Agnes is one of the seniors who reali took gud care of me. She was always fetching me to camps, activites with tian zhuan, without any complaints. She is very very cute too, the size may b, she's quite tiny :P


My buddy, ChanYawTeck

This is my buddy, Chan Yaw Teck, he pass all his notes and past year papers to me, he is oso very caring, but i wasnt haha. So anyway, he is a very gud senior. I think i wasnt tat close to the seniors anyway, only those who was involve in music stuff, like Choir and YaoLanShou. So, Yaw Teck was with me in Choir during my 1st yr. Had alot of fun :)

There's been a tradition to throw seniors up high during convo in UM. Its usuali brought up by hostel juniors or their course juniors. During my 1st yr i nvr made it to the throwing team, they need stronger boys. I've oways hope i cud made it to b thrown up during my convo, with the condition i stay on in college until 3rd yr or 4th yr. So, in the end i dint make it, i move out after staying in the midst of 2nd yr.

Talk to a fren who have move out with me at the same time, we had the same feelin. We just cant handle the weird relationship with our seniors. I myself hate the 半生不熟 relationship with our seniors, it feels very awkward to meet seniors 24 7 but yet feel so far away. Some seniors just wont f@#kin care to say hi or even look at us (i might have did the smtn to my juniors, lol) but i hate tat kinda feeling.

There's stil nice people in college, but overall, the food, hygene, and my own financial problem, lead me to leave the hostel for good. Sometimes i still wonder what if i stayed? i tink i wud definitely wont have enuf cash to get a Musicman Bass, so end of thought, keke. But since most coursemates stil stays in the hostel, i would stil visit them regularly for courseworks and video sharing :>


Foo, macho man in the uni.

This guy Foo, reli hang out alot with him since 2nd yr after i move out, cz he oways come find me yumcha and wen he gt show he'll oways find me, alvin, guorong to perform together. That makes him one of my buddies. We got our specs, pants, shirt during buy 1 free 1 promotions, went lepak with his car, try to venture in trading business with him. Sometimes tulan him, den sometimes be fren again. He's a farnie guy, speaks alot, but sometimes too stubborn.

So what reali brought sparks to my uni life, was to join musical related activities such as the Choir team and Band team in the hostel, and most importantli, YaoLanShou. I reali met alot of people, mostli stil from my hostel, HwaSik, Raymond, QiuHwa, and the others like Winnie, Alvin, Foo, Irys, LeeMin, YunJie, TzeLerk, Andrew and so many more. They've all graduated tis yr. So, basicali i've went on convo every session continuously for 4 days, fulli exhausted.

Seeing them at the convocation, also brought me back memories of all the little time we spent over tis 3yrs. It also leads me to wondering when will i see them again, for those who went back to their hometown, and some whom are going abroad to further studies overseas.

Winnie and QiuHwa is 2 friends i feel proud of. They're reali talented in music and very friendli too. Have been playing bass with her since 1st yr, wen she won the 1st song composing competition. Its nice to hav smal gossips with them. But i guess i nvr reli get to noe them more, since they're so busy wit their studies. I was hoping to 送行 since QiuHwa's flying over to US tonight, but havta attend practise for QuanChuang, Shit!!!! so sad. Gotta call her later tonight, before her plane takes off.
